DayDream Labs designs and builds websites, web applications, marketplaces and mobile apps for UK businesses — and, more to the point, gets them into production and keeps them there.

Where we are

We are based in Wistaston, near Crewe, and we work UK-wide — most projects run remotely from the first conversation to handover. If you would rather sit across a table from the person building it, we are happy to meet anywhere within about an hour: Cheshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester, Liverpool and in between.

Why the model looks like this

Agencies aren’t doing anything wrong. They’re carrying a team, an office and an account management layer, and that has to be paid for somewhere. We don’t have those, and AI does the work that used to need five people.

That leverage is the whole point: fewer man-hours on the same piece of work, so bespoke software costs a fraction of agency rates. What it does not do is remove the rigour. Discovery still takes as long as it needs before anything is quoted, the specification is still written down and agreed before build starts, and you still get a working prototype in front of you before you have paid for the build.
